"Lead from your heart not from your head."

Egoless Leadership™

To fully understand what ego means, ego must first be defined.  The Webster’s Dictionary states:  “The ego represents the conscious self, the superficial conscious part of the psyche, developed in response to environment, self centeredness, egotism and conceit.”

In other words “Ego” Leadership focuses on self, or “what is in it for me”?

Whereas Egoless Leadership™ focuses on “what is in it for myself and others?”

Egoless Leaders™ are very clear and aware of what they are positively or negatively projecting on to others. Leading at this higher level, the leadership style naturally and profoundly empowers others. The subtle transformation of those following is revealed in a renewed and vibrant positive attitude. The employees will either choose to rise above complacency and mediocrity or they will quickly fall away.

Humility, trust, confidence and pride are the initial Egoless Leadership™ cornerstones.

Employee empowerment is triggered by a leader’s humility.  Humility is experienced when a leader realizes that by ignoring loyal followers the leader will eventually fail.

Leading with humility perpetuates trust.  When followers trust their leader this produces employee confidence.  Employee confidence stimulates employee pride.

Ultimate success is measured by how employees truly feel about their leader. When employees express pride in the leadership, the corporate culture exudes positive reinforcement. This positive reinforcement results in employees wanting to work instead of having to. When employees hold their CEO in high esteem they naturally contribute more than what is expected because they know their contribution is valued.

The greatest corporate legacy a CEO can proudly leave behind is that they have confidently, responsibly and significantly made a difference in the lives of each and every employee.
